When I scan images they're bright and distorted. With my epson scanner the images are crisp and i can see every pixel. With the HP, they look bright and blurry, and a lot of detail is always lost. I used it to scan this pencil drawing, without any manual adjustments before saving. You can't even tell that her skin is supposed to be dark, because all the shading has been blasted away into white.
The whole thing looks like an ink-brush drawing that got water spilled on it afterward. The Epson printer did this too until I turned off color correction or a similar setting, but the setting doesn't exist for this printer as far as I can tell. How do I fix this? Now that we have that out of the way, please understand that HP printer settings are not the same as Epson and hence there are no Color Correction settings within the printer control panel, what you may want to do instead is, install and use the, if you don't have it on your device already: And use the resolution and color settings in the HP Scan software to change the quality and appearance of saved scans. Resolution: Resolution, measured in dots per inch (DPI), impacts scan quality. Higher resolution produces clearer and more detailed scans, but increases the file size and can take longer to complete the scan job.
